Red Work and Blue Work

Charles Lamdin’s latest article is a good read:

It is true: most organizations are stuck in the “Red Work” field, and don’t see that knowledge-work is both thinking and doing at the same time.

I often describe #tameflow itself as a “Praxis” - or theory informed practice: you need to continually think about what you are doing, and what you are doing will shape your thinking.

So does this qualify as Purple Work? :smiley:


In Tameflow, thinking and doing are meshed … Purple means that there is no longer blue or red work …

I think we need to associate Purple Work with tameflow and start taking the space
